Sew Last Summer is a slow-fashion brand based in Essex. Focusing on utilising and rescuing textiles from landfill, we create accessories that make you look good, and feel confident - and doing a lil bit to save the planet!
Dubbed ‘The Crown of Joy’ our headbands are a well loved best seller.
Our luxurious and fun accessories are designed and created by Tiffany, a Disabled and queer, self taught sewist who was born in Essex. She is passionate about sustainability, finding joy in the small things and daring to be different.You can find us stocked in Patrick’s Interiors and Exteriors in Long Melford, Sussex. Previously Sew Last Summer has been stocked in Love Local (Colchester), and The Little Shop near Doncaster.

Meet Tiffany
Hi! I am the creative director and founder of Sew Last Summer, which I created in October 2020 when I got bored of having no fun accessories that fitted my personality, and were made with love, care and with the planet in mind.
Having dabbled with sewing as a young teen, I picked up a new sewing machine to build myself a new wardrobe as I learned more about fast fashion and started making accessories for myself, and after some encouragement, started selling on Etsy.
My professional background is in customer service, with over 18 years experience in this field and managing call centres, I am prepared to help you with any queries you may have.
My favourite part of running Sew Last Summer is market days and meeting customers. I’m a resident stallholder at the Harvey Centre in Harlow, and I’m there every last Saturday of the month in 2023.
I choose to use fabrics that I love and that feel good - these are typically cottons, viscoses, satins and velvets. These fabrics are beautiful and fun to use, and feel great when you’re wearing them!
Many of the fabrics I use are made from deadstock or vintage fabrics, and I love nothing more than rescuing these fabrics from landfill to give them new life. I try hard to minimise waste - so if you see a product but the fabric isn’t listed, drop me a message and we can discuss this.

I have a Romanian rescue dog named Ronnie, I live with Crohn’s disease and an ileostomy. Surprisingly my favourite colour is green, I love cooking Mexican food, gold coloured jewellery, rummaging in charity shops, and visiting my local nature reserve.
